My daughter loves this guitar! BUT it did not come with the booklet detailed in the product description. Also, it could really use a strap. Has anyone found a strap that goes with this guitar? I bought a standard one but it doesn’t work with this…

This is the perfect beginner guitar for a child. We bought this for our 3 year old and she loves it. Not to mention the design. Adorable!

This is a really cute guitar. Unfortunately, the strings don't stay in tune for more than a few minutes. If you just want a toy for a toddler, it's fine but if you're looking for an instrument for a young child to learn on, this wouldn't be it.

The guitar arrived with the strings loosened exactly as they should. There's no way to get it tuned perfectly, but it's close enough for my toddler. Very durable- they've thrown it, stood on it, banged on it, and other toddler conducted tests. And they love playing it and carrying it around. The only thing I wish it had was a strap or spots to attach one, but I get not having one since it is for little kids.

This is an excellent little guitar, perfect size for toddler and up to kindergarten age I’d say. Well crafted, cute colours. Hape products are always worth it.

Ok so, I accidentally ordered the wrong thing. Initially I was looking for a ukelele for a two(2) year old, I failed to notice that it was an actual guitar. Fast forward, I received the item but I had to return to obtain the right one. Now even though we didn’t get to keep it- it was a very lovely piece, no damages and marks, everything was in tact and it played beautifully. The design was gorgeous too. I definitely plan to reorder it when my daughter is older if she’s still interested in continuing to play.

Great size for my 6yr old! Durable and great paint job. Some of the strings are metal and couple are plastic. The plastic ones are little cheap but we just replaced them. Great purchase!

My 3 year old grandson is enamored with some guitar groups he has seen on U-tube, and he plays this so non-stop that he actually gets blisters on his strumming finger. It is a little larger than the previous toy guitar he had, stays "in tune" a little longer than the toy. However, I only rated it 4 stars for durability, as it will crack when a 3 year old stands on it. Not to worry, I put some gorilla glue on the crack and it's good as new.
