2 year old son has been playing with this for 2 weeks since he got it for Christmas. He plays with it for about 10 minutes twice a day and has only hammered with the given hammer. It is already starting to come apart and splinter.

誕生日プレゼントにいろんなおもちゃを買いましたが、お高いものよりもこちらもかなり気に入っていつも遊んでいます。子どもは叩くの好きですよね。本当に買ってよかった!

My 2.5 year old loves this. She saw her dad doing some building with nails and loves to pretend to be daddy.

Unser großer (4) hat das Spiel bekommen, da war er ein Jahr und er liebt es bis heute! Auch der kleine Bruder spielt fleißig damit! Einzig den Hammer muss man zu anfangs kleben. Wir verschenken es gerne.

My 13-month old son loves this. The hammer isn't heavy. It's perfect.

I only let my toddlers play with this toy supervised. Sits & pushes the pegs with his fingers & occasionally taps with the hammer. If I don't sit with the toddlers, they hit the furniture & walls with the hammer. It's great for creating boundaries & having them sit down to play. I put it up while not playing.

Perfect for small toddlers. Hammer is small and light weight and the "nails" go down all the way without easily coming out. Not heavy like some others so I don't worry about our two year old smashing fingers or dropping it on his toe or on the tile floor in kitchen. Good buy!

Pass Aleve, but bring on the smiles! Kiddos adore this toy! Just adore it. LO takes out the pegs and pops em back in, bangs them up and down, wields the mallet like a champ, carries this thing all over the house. Winner. But yea, wouldn't mind if some noise canceling headphones came with the toy! (Actually, because the pegs and the mallet are both plastic, it's not TOO bad. so it's just when LO decides the wooden part is fun to bang instead.... FYI).

I love the design of this toy. My son has continued to play with for over 8 months. We have misplaced some of the pegs,... they turn up occasionally. My only real negative the hammer. I had to hide it, because he took to hitting himself and me with it. Not hard, but still not fun. Probably a personal problem. He still likes to play with it without the hammer, putting pegs in and pushing them through. We also really love this company, Hape makes beautiful wooden toys.
