I was happy to come across this case, because I've been storing my Shure SM7B in its original cardboard box for years. This case has two molded compartments: one fits the mic with its standard windscreen and built-in bracket, while the other fits exactly the larger windscreen. A mesh pocket in the lid of the case holds the user guide and perhaps could hold an XLR cord. Instead of the large windscreen, the smaller molded compartment could hold an inline mic pre, such as the Cloudlifter. It's a really nice case for storage inside a cabinet or carrying to a friend's house or studio. It isn't what I would call a "hard" case that you might use to transport the mic in a high-use, professional environment, but it is more protective than a gig bag type of case.

The SnawikiBag Hard Carrying Case is an excellent choice for safeguarding my Shure SM7B microphone. The custom-fit design ensures a snug and secure hold for the SM7B and MV7 models, keeping them safe from bumps and scratches during transport. The case's robust construction and padded interior provide top-notch protection, while the sleek black exterior adds a professional touch. The handle is comfortable, making it easy to carry, and the durable zippers operate smoothly. This carrying case is perfect for both studio and on-the-go use, offering peace of mind that my equipment is well-protected. Highly recommended for anyone who values their gear and needs reliable storage!

for 20 dollars, its a reasonable price. The outside is pretty soft and the mesh pocket thing doesn't have much elasticity. but the mic fits well and is supported on all sides. It protects the mic well but doesn't do a much better job than other cases. Its fine, not the best

Unlike other reviewers, I cannot compare this to other cases for this mic since I haven't seen the competition. The case itself is absolutely fine. Nice mesh fabric with a reasonably robust handle. The inner compartments fit the SM7B properly. (I have to find the external foam wind screen as I never use it). There's a mesh compartment that can probably fit one of those XLR inline preamp boosters and a small mic cable. I just need to protect the mic at home so this is perfectly fine for me.

Just as shown in the listing, this hard sided case has dedicated storage for the SM7b, the extra windscreen, and some room left over for cabling, etc.Although it is a good value, and I'll rate it five stars for its good design and ample protection, I think this could have been ideally a few bucks cheaper. But that's a minor complaint. I've only had a bag for storing/transporting my SM7b, and I prefer to keep things in cases when packing out. Accidents do happen.Well designed, and great protection. Five Stars.

This case is clearly a knockoff of another, better known brand of case for the SM7B, and it does a reasonable job of it. However, the outer case is softer than the original one, so it doesn't provide as much protection. You can squeeze the outside of the case and actually feel the mic through it. That's not great.Another aspect that's a little lacking is: in the original case, there's a mesh pocket with a zipper that seals it off. This one has a mesh pocket in the same location as the one it's imitating, but there's no zipper, so things can fall out of it.Overall, it's an ok case, but the case it's a knockoff of is only a few dollars more, so given that it's not even a big savings over the original one, it's hard to recommend it very strongly.

This case is pretty flimsy, and the fitment isn't super tight, so it allows a bit of wiggle room, which you don't want when traveling with expensive gear. It's great if you're just using it for storage, but if you're looking for something to protect your mic while traveling, I'm certain there are better options within this price range. I just keep it on the shelf with all my other mic cases for my studio, so it works for me, I'm just leaving a warning for those who may be looking for something to transport their equipment in.
