Took us some time for my wife and I to install but the end result is satisfactory.We had 2 females rat that had babies and the cage's bars were too spaced out. So to not loose any babies, instead of having the trouble of selling the cage and buy a new one, we decided to buy this chicken coop wire mesh. It took time to install (we tied the wire mesh into section with zip ties), when we were cutting the roll into sections, the wires are really thin so watch out if you cut it with metal cutting scissors, it will pass through easily. It was the perfect spacing size for our rats(about 0.9 x 0.9 cm---3/8 x 3/8 inch per square). Durability feels okay, don't expect with to hold tigers with this but still feels like there's a galvanized coating on it so outside should be good to use.

I love that this product is machine washable, but I encountered a few difficulties when I tried to place it inside the dryer.
