Applications
Reaming holes can be of precise size and shape; the reamers are precision ground with straight edges to provide a finishing finish while providing a long tool life.
Hand reamers can be hand operated using wrenches for light cutting, repair work, removing stock, or simply for enlarging holes. Tools have no finish or coating. They are a good choice for general-purpose applications.
High-Speed Steel - High-speed steel tools are suitable for most general applications, offering a combination of hardness and toughness for wear resistance and increased work efficiency.
Straight Flutes - The reamer allows chips and debris to escape easily from the hole, great for most applications in shallow cuts. Can achieve the required roundness, straightness, and concentricity of the hole.
Note - Frictional heat will be caused during the hole expansion friction process. Using appropriate lubricants can reduce friction, increase the cutting speed of the reamer, and extend the tool's life.
