I've had this on my wife's car for a while now & there has been no issues. I like this better than the o.e. one because the factory one is solid & cannot see if the crank seal is leaking (which it was), but this one had open spaces where you can clearly see if the seal is leaking. I doubt that I needed the crank pulley, but i am very pleased with this purchase. It slid on the crank with no effort like the original slid off.
