i used this to put my ampeg svt-3 amplifier in and those of you who have this model svt know, for what it is, it's heavy. i had to take the feet off of the bottom to get it in - which is no big deal.as far as the case is concerned, i would rather have the carrying handles on the sides vs on the lid.
