This wondrous tea, Oolong, is apparently right between green and black teas and the flavor is not as harsh as the latter, but more pronounced than the former, which is perfect for my tastes. Highly recommended!

The Harney & Sons Formosa Oolong has quickly become a staple in our tea collection! The flavor is wonderfully smooth and rich, with a balanced, almost creamy finish. It’s enjoyable on its own, but my husband loves to add a bit of honey, which brings out the subtle sweetness and makes it even more comforting. The 3oz tin is a perfect size for keeping it fresh, and the loose leaves allow for easy customization of strength. If you’re an oolong fan or just exploring, this tea is a must-try!

This is a wonderful Oolong tea at a very affordable price. I purchased it as a gift for my mother, who is partial to Oolong teas, but not in a highbrow sort of way. Oolong teas have become very trendy and there are so many different levels of quality and terroirs available almost like wine, that it can be overwhelming to find one you like. If you’re of a certain age and remember the Oolong tea served in every NY Chinese restaurant, I think you’ll love this. It’s not a high end, complex sort of Oolong, but it’s smooth and comforting, the tea I remember from my childhood. Mom said it was exactly the tea she was looking for. I can always count on Harney and Sons for quality, affordable teas. Glad to find many of them on Amazon when I need fast shipping.
