Good product pulls nails easily

The reviews said they are pretty good, so I bought them to replace a misplaced pair I’ve had for 30 off years.These don’t like cutting framing nails of any type. That is what these cutters were invented for. To cut close, & to pull out nails. My hands are plenty strong enough to crush down on a pair of pliers of any type, so this is not the problem. And I have managed to chop a few nails off, but not easily, or close.Bottom line is, these do not cut close enough to the material, and they only cut very thin Brad type nails, or tie wire. Yes, they do pull out nails fairly well, two stars, but I want my tools to do what they were designed to do.

This 8" handle on these nippers work significantly better than the 7". The 7" took two hands to cut copper rivets but this one only takes one and cuts through like butter leaving a perfect stud to be hammered. Only used it a few times since I bought it but I would recommend this over the 7".

not as sharp as should be, cutting edges do not come completely together, so difficult to cut very thin object

I bought 2 and they are amazing. They pulled out every last nail and staple in my sub floor when i ripped out all my old floors :)
