I would only use for a bow. Works great for a bow but I used once for my rifle and it’s not strong enough to hold

Wire broke, gun fell 15’ & landed on the scope. Cracked my stock. Needs to be designed with a more durable wire insert.

Mixed feelings on this one. Twist tie is quiet, quick and convenient, but on my hunt today it failed. Twist tie works great in dry weather, but my hunt was in the rain all day today. The rope and twist tie were wet. Had no issues hoisting my crossbow when I pulled it out of the bag, in the evening when it was time to get down, everything in my bag was wet, including this pull rope. Omg story, the twist tie doesn’t grip well in the rain and it slipped and dropped my crossbow 20 feet. Needless to say I’m not happy about it. I will no longer be trusting my crossbow, and sure as Hell not any firearm, to this twist tie. I already put a sturdy aluminum carabiner on the “tag” end and will use the twist tie to secure the rope to my person when I’m climbing the tree. FWIW, the twistie was looped around the xbow stirrup and then twisted around itself the same number of times pulling up as it was when I went to lower it. The twistie slipped and opened up due to being wet. It’s very grippy when dry. I do like the ribbon type line though. It’s easier to grip than the thin cords I’ve been using.

Great bow hoist. Its long and quick and easy to use. Plus it doesn't tangle easily like the cheap hoists sold.

I can't wait to use it this hunting season. I've always had my pull up rope tied to my climbing stand rail. I would hank the rope all the way up as close to the rail as possible. It would always hang three to four inches off the rail and would sometimes get hung on limbs and thorns. But now I'll be able to use the twist tie to keep it tight against the rail and it shouldn't be able to get hung on anything

This is my second Hawk twist-tie hoist line. It is very use to use and secure. The twist tie is rubber coated and therefore stays very quiet, both in use and while not in use. You don't have to worry about any metal-on-metal contact with the tree stand or your tree sticks. I would highly recommend Hawk's other products as well.

Best pull up ropes I have found. They do not tangle and are very strong. I bought two and will buy more for gifts. The twist tie connection pulls up my bag and bow at the same time. All of the Hawk products I have purchased are top notch.

This product works great. I am a big fan of the twist ti mechanism. The rope material does not get tangled or knotted up easily. This product just preforms great. If you need a bow hoist or anything like this is the product to use.
