After searching forever for the perfect part to repair the tub plumbing in our 22 yr old camper, I decided to order this part, which was what I thought would work from the beginning. The new tub had a depth that was 2 inches less, meaning we had to find something to bridge that gap. This part worked perfectly and the threads matched both the drain and the ABS plumbing!

This item looked used, dirty and had damaged threads. Made a complaint and a refund was issued. I didn’t have to return it, so i just discarded it.

I bought this threaded coupler because it read "Hayward". It did not fit my Hayward pool fitting. I found out later, my pool fitting was unique because it was built in the 60's
