The thermometer arrived intact but with many gaps in the fluid. After attempting the suggested gap removal method using dry ice there were still gaps. This calls the calibration into question. Eventually I'll try liquid Nitrogen but that will take more effort.

Unfortunately, I threw away the package for the first one ordered, it was broken. Lab thermometers are only certified for one year, I ordered this one in March, it expires in May...so I'll need to purchase Another one in May.
