I tried two different compound sets of Wilwood pads and both sets sounded like metal on metal when stopping. Talked to their tech support and it was always my fault that I didn't bed them properly. NOT, followed the bedding process precisely with same loud results.Talked to other owners with the same noise complaints.Talked to Hawk and they recommended these pads to be quiet. Followed their bedding process and what a difference . No noise after a couple of thousand miles on the same rotors. I couldn't be any happier with this switch.
