I wanted something that worked and passed my wife’s “test” for looking good enough to leave out in the living room. A happy compromise makes for a happy marriage! This was inexpensive and easy to assemble with no tools required.

This was super easy to set up on my desk, and is doing it's job well. It is simple and clean looking, and pretty sturdy too. Overall, I'm happy with it!

I am using this in my classroom to hold my 3 classroom Chromebooks. This is definitely sturdy enough for my use. However, when I first unpacked it and put it together, it was a bit warped. I tried pressing it back down so that it would lie flat on my countertop and immediately heard an ominous cracking sound. I stopped immediately and there didn't appear to be any visible damage. Over the last couple of weeks of use, it has held up great and it eventually settled down to lay flush on the countertop. I don't know if my pushing or time and gravity corrected the problem. This is not the most sturdy but it does the job that I need it to do. It is very lightweight and I imagine that it could be easily broken with a drop or too much pressure put on it. Worth it if you can catch this on sale.

This bamboo file holder is quite sturdy and the wood finish is good quality.I use it for a non-standard purpose that is to dry ziplock gallon freezer bags. Heaven knows the gallon freezer bags get expensive and to save money my family washes them with soap and water. My family uses alot of gallon freezer bags for meal prep and realizing savings by buying bulk and freezing fruit (for smoothies), meat (fish, chicken, pork), and rice.I was going to design and build a solution for drying them and along came this thing. It is the perfect width for accommodating the ziplock bags and the six rows of pegs is perfect. For the price point, this thing already pays for itself not having to buy another box of gallon freezer bags so soon.No more needing to use empty bottles to prop open freezer bags to dry. I couldn't be more happy with this thing.Whether you use it for files or, in my case, drying freezer bags you will be happy with this unit. The only challenge was getting the cross beam dowels into the holes when assembling. It is a super tight fit appearing that the hole is too small, but you have to really twist and push on them to finally get them in during assembly.

This is a solid and sturdy rack.I did have a bit of an issue with one of the two dowels that connect the whole thing. One end was super hard to fit into any of the holes. It was simply too big - we measured it. So, I had to get out my little rotary tool and make one of holes bigger. Now, the sides are preassembled, so you don't have to mess around with making each and every dowel fit on those. And they are very secure and steady. They don't wiggle around or flex at all.Because it is solid and that's what matters most, I am not deducting any stars for the five minutes I spent jacking around with the misfit dowel. The finish is clean on the wood - no bubbles or drips. There's no rough edges on the wood - no slivers or such.I am storing four average laptops - ranging in size from a small Surface Pro to a large 17 inch.I am also able to store the laptop sleeves on it. With all that weight, it still is solid. You also get six round rubber self-adhesive pads to put on the bottom, which prevents the rack from slipping around. It's a good rack and is multipurpose. You could also use this to store plates or such. It's up to you.But it's well-made and sturdy.

Just got this. It's way too big sitting on my desk taking up too much space; plus, it's easy to move around because there are no rubber pads on the bottom.I would rather of had it mounted upwards on an angle so it would let papers sort of lay flat and also not take up so much room on the desk.I'll just stick with my plastic filoflux to keep paperwork in and keep it in the drawer where it's out of the way and out of sight!

Dishes, books… tablets and thin laptops. These sort of things go great with this product. I have a few Amazon tablets I want to keep organized, and one Windows tablet that is of similar form factor. Nothing I want to store on this will tip over— it’s built pretty solid, and as long as the heavier devices are closer to center, it’s fine.I was surprised to see that it was mostly preassembled— all I needed to do was connect two rods to the left and right sides of the base, and it was ready to go. A rubber mallet may come in handy to expedite this process, but you can do it bare handed too. Just takes a bit of umph.Recommended for anyone who needs something simple to keep organized.

I know the measurements are in the description for this, but I was still surprised by how long it is overall. I originally wanted it to display pamphlets that are the size of the small notebook in the image, but it's too big. That said, it's actually more useful than expected. The size helps it to remain upright when a large notebook (such as a full 1.5 inch binder) is placed in an end slot, so I'm using it to better organize my manuals and folders.Construction was simple (though it took some muscle), and it came with little grippers for the bottom to keep it from sliding around. I originally thought it probably wouldn't be worth the list price, but for real bamboo and the size, it seems about right.
