About this item

  • Tartar Control
  • Promotes healthy teeth and gums
  • Satisfies dog's natural urge to chew
  • Heavier than regular rawhide
  • Perfect for the power chewer

Superior Quality Pressed Rawhide Lasts 5 times Longer

100% cowhide, formed by "welding" numerous layers of rawhide with colossal pressure to make chews which are heavier and more dense than regular rawhide. The outer layer of hide, is much thicker and will conform to its supposed shape. Due to being tightly rolled, a key benefit to pressed rawhide is in its tendency to last longer giving the dog greater chewing satisfaction and allowing for better digestibility. Try it, you dog might like it.

  • Heavier than regular rawhide
  • No harmful chemicals or bleaching
  • Nutritious and filled with flavor
  • Perfect for the power chewer

There are no harmful chemicals or bleaching, which we believe can remove essential nutrients and decrease flavor.

Slow to soften, pressed rawhide is a great value for very active, aggressive chewers

Dogs really love them

My dog seems to love these pressed rawhide. We use these vs regular rawhide as they stay adhered together, with less chance of choking. Scooby loves them and one bone lasts for several days (he isn’t a “power” eater). My one critique would be the price although these are the cheapest we have found for the quality.

Dangerous!!! These are very expensive, extremely small, not at all pressed properly and are quite hollow inside. Definitely will NOT buy from them again. I wouldn’t take the chance. Your dog could choke to death on these. I sit with my dogs whenever they have anything to chew on but I will not let them have these. I question the company. I use to get these amazing ones (before COVID) from the same company at a local store here and for a fraction of the cost and they are solid and last a long time. So disappointed!

My German Shepherd tears through bones, however, these bones give him a challenge. I try and watch him when he gets to the last layer and take that part away so he isn't tempted to swallow it whole. Otherwise, he's a happy camper because he can do some serious chewing and I am happy that it's these bones and not something else!

I foster for rescues and often have a dozen dogs. These are usually loved by most the dogs and allowing them to chew truly is an important part of their innate behavior. Plus my dogs' teeth are all very clean. Have never had stinky teeth or to have a dental in 30 years of having dogs! I alternate these with Yak Cheese chews and knotted rawhide. You can pick these up at bedtime and hand them out the next night and they'll last for a week or more! Very cost effective and the chewing makes the dogs calm and happy! I always include these in my adoption bags to go home with the dogstoo!

Dogs (boxers) loved these, no tummy problems, no yucky paste on my carpet, only little pieces that broke of during chewing. Completely gone by hour marker 2. Great value.

Here’s my large dog’s (an aggressive chewer) review of dog chews with the best at the top:1. Large Yak Cheese sticks: - [ ] Pros:each large stick lasts a few days. No smell or stomach upset. Keeps his interest. No sharp shards. - [ ] Cons:They are VERY hard and I’ve seen some reviews of dogs cracking their teeth. They can leave small bits of cheese on the floor where they are chewing it.2. Pressed Rawhide Bones/large raw hide rolls: - [ ] Pros: lasts a day maybe more. Keeps his interest. No smell or stomach upset. No mess. No sharp shards - [ ] Cons: I’ve seen cautions that rawhide can cause intestinal blockage. But honestly most of these treats could do that.3. Deer or elk antlers - [ ] Pros: lasts a long time (weeks). No smell, no stomach upset, no mess. - [ ] Cons: he did get bored of them. One he was able to chew down did break with a few sharp shards.4. Bully sticks (large) - I bought huge braided ones - [ ] Pros: he loves them. Minimal smell. No sharp shards - [ ] Cons: he finished it in a few hours and puked later :(. I gave him a second one a week later and he didn’t puke but I did find smaller pieces around the house as he had broke it down into chunks.5. Rubber or nylon based chews (flavored and unflavored): - [ ] Pros: lasts forever, some don’t smell, no shards - [ ] Cons: unless it’s got a treat hidden in there or I’ve smeared with peanut butter, he’s not interested.6. Huge beef bones (purchased from pet supplier, not from my table :) ) - [ ] Pros: lasts forever. Interest drops as the marrow and bits of meat get chewed away. - [ ] Cons: can be messy when it’s first given with the marrow and some meat on it. Thinner parts can be broken into shards. The shards are why I listed this last.
