Some things to consider when choosing from our HDX line of in-ceiling and in-wall speakers:

  • Quality crossover components (found on the back side of a speaker) make a big difference in the overall smoothness of how a speaker sounds
  • Gold-plated compression cable connectors offer better signal transfer compared to simple push-pin connectors
  • Our anodized aluminum dome tweeter produces crisp detail with none of the harshness associated with other metal dome tweeters
  • A +/-3dB tweeter switch and a +/-3dB woofer switch give you complete control in fine-tuning the speakers to your room and personal taste
  • HDX speakers are perfect for high moisture areas, including bathrooms and covered patios. Each includes weather-resistant components, stainless steel hardware, and the smaller powder-coated aluminum grille will not rust
  • Our proprietary design provides two aesthetic options - use a grille that exposes a modest trim, similar to canned lighting, or select the trimless grille to cover the entire speaker
