This headlight switch works well in my 2003 Chevy 2500HD truck. Installation is an ease as no tools are needed. The switch works as the factory one does. The backlighting is a little bit more greenish-blue compared the the factory switch. The backlighting is fairly even across the switch. This is a nice low-cost alternative to a factory switch.

My original headlight dimmer switch was no longer working fully and I put this one in and so far its working great, and it lights up. My original one didnt light up anymore. The switch and dimmer wheel are nice and smooth. So far so good! Hopefully it lasts.

I bought this for my 2006 Chevy Silverado as the old one would not light up at night. Not that that's a big deal but it bugged me. This switch is stiffer than the old (probably because it's brand new and the old one was 17 years old) but now I can see the switch at night and I can dim or brighten the dash lights as well. I just leave the switch on Auto otherwise.
