Initially I was skeptical about purchasing this because I’ve tried many different methods and none of them worked! However, this kit was different, it comes with every item you need in order to have success, there is also a step by step video tutorial that makes this entire process beyond easy to follow along with. Overall, I think it’s 100% worth the purchase if you have time and want to fix your headlights yourself.

Ok I was skeptical, because how much difference can it really make? Fooged plastic is now clear. Easy to use, took about 45 minutes and some elbow grease (wouldn't necessarily recommend doing it in the middle of winter like us, but that our own dum fault lol). Way cheaper than buying whole new headlight assembly. The proof is in the pictures! Wow! Amazing!

This kit didn't seem to do much for yellow-ish headlights, but I have yet to find a kit that does...Other than that, it performed as expected and has everything you'll need besides a drill. The abrasive is superfine and doesn't buff out the large rock-related chips, but handles fine sand-related scratches alright. It's going to depend on how much time you have and how much of the headlight you're willing to sand away. The UV clear coat is an appreciated addition, but only time will tell how durable and resistant to yellowing it is.I didn't take a before pic so I'll have to try it on my taillight or something for comparison photos. I've also found this sort of fine abrasive is great for small solar panels and the damage they pick up after years outside. For less than $20, you get enough material for multiple cars or multiple applications. Definitely worth a shot when considering alternatives to replacing headlights entirely.

This has taken me a lot longer than it should have, but I have been waiting out the weather.Kit comes with everything you need - the amount of items may be an issue depending on your situation. What you see here is just the first pass with the coarsest grit material. These headlights are ~18 years old.As you can see from the first image of the headlight it had some pretty bad issues. The first pass of the coarsest grit sandpaper has smoothed the lens a lot -- it will need _many_ passes to get to a good state.I am going to wait until warmer weather and better UV conditions before completing the sanding and application of the coating.

I have a 2016 Kia Sedona and the headlights were starting to get cloudy. I used this, following the instructions, and it worked really well. A few days later though, I noticed the cloudiness returning in the same areas.

I have a 2006 SUV and I recently realized it was basically undrivable at night as my headlights were ancient and the lens they were behind were effectively opaque. I messed up by not taking before/after pictures, but just take the worst few before pictures that other reviewers have submitted and layer them on top of each other and you'll have an idea of my starting point.I expected this to just be a liquid you applied to the lens and then wiped off and voila, as my Dad had a kit like that before. That liquid is part of it, but there's a lot more work to do first with this system. All in all it worked pretty well. Make sure you read through the steps first, or watch the video so you know what you're in for. My headlights look so so much better now, but I'm dinging this product a star for a couple reasons.First, it relies on sanding down the lenses using a drill attachment that spins the sand paper around. It's not particularly easy to use as the rotation pulls the drill around. This is compounded by the fact that headlights are all sorts of weird, bubbly shapes. If they were one flat surface, no problem, but applying a relatively even sanding to the curved and contoured lenses was not easy. Second, it didn't include enough of the larger grit pads for me to fully finish the job before they were worn down and smooth. I'm probably about as bad a case as this system could tackle, so this probably won't apply to most shoppers, but I really could have used a few more pads. Third, the applicator for the UV solution is very small, and it makes it impossible to do a nice, clean job.All that said though, my lenses now look great, and you can only see the flaws if you really get down close and look. Even then they're small. I would however hesitate to recommend this to anyone without some experience with drills or grinders...things using rotary force.

2013 Nissan Frontier - factory headlights were so cloudy, I replaced the bulbs with hyper white & still didn't have enough illumination at night on roads without night lights or other ambient sources of illumination. I never used a headlight restore kit, or even know if they worked, dim headlights is dangerous. I read instructions & followed them to the letter. It looks like a lot of steps & a complicated process - but that is because the instructions are very well written for people who have never used a restore kit or even those with limited mechanical or hand tool knowledge. I slowly worked through each step, finally applying the UV sealer. I didn't even look until I got to work the next morning, My frosted headlight covers which I could barely see through some hours ago, now looked like clear glass!!! Holy Cow, this works Great was super easy to do & even has directions parts & material to correct mistakes you may make, in other words some of the kit & much of the instructions are not needed....unless you err. It is a nice comfort safety net, & if you mess up the first time, it is unlikely you'd repeat that from your experience. Very simple to use & results in better looking restore than I could have imagined. Yes the roads are well lit for me now when driving in those areas without light after dark. Exceeded my highest expectations by miles.
