Quick Disclaimer - I used this for yellowing plastic on a storage container not my headlights. That out of the way, I loved it. It was super easy to use. It didn't have a horribly overwhelming smell. It worked perfectly for what I used it for and it worked really fast. Great value for what I needed.

It didn’t work as expected. The 2-step lens cleaner did little to restore the clarity of my headlights. While it did remove some yellowing and oxidation, the haziness remained, and the scratches didn’t improve at all.The kit is easy to use with no sanding required, which is a nice, but it didn’t provide the professional results I was hoping for. I expected more noticeable improvement.

This tub looks like lotion when opened. It feels like a superfine abrasive to buff out the finest of scratches. It did nothing for the yellowing and the scratches on the headlight are too deep to really do anything. Any rock chip or ding is going to create a divot too deep for this to handle.I applied this to a sponge on a drill and applied significant pressure to make sure it was working. There is little difference. After 20 years, my headlights have several products layered on them. By now, it's a mix of resin, ceramic, epoxy, and wax. This didn't seem to get through any.Only use this for the finest scratches and scuffs on your headlights.I did bump it from 2 to 3 stars because, as another reviewer remarked, it works for solar panels.I have a small solar dripper panel in the backyard that looks perpetually dusty due to tiny scratches. It did knock a few years of damage off the panel face.

The Headlight Restoration Kit is just okay. It does help remove some yellowing and haze, but the results weren’t as dramatic as I had hoped. The process is simple, and I appreciate that no sanding or extra tools are required, but it doesn’t seem to last very long. After a couple of weeks, some of the haze started to return, even after following the instructions carefully. It’s a decent quick fix if you want a slight improvement without much effort, but for long-lasting clarity, a more thorough restoration method might be needed. Not bad, but not amazing either.

I can't believe how well this stuff worked. My headlights look brand new I simply followed the directions and in no time was done and they looked as though they just rolled off the showroom floor. I would recommend this to anyone. Unlike some I've used in the past where there's a lot of cleaning and sanding this type is much easier and I believe the results are better.

I received this kit because my car's headlights had become significantly yellowed and hazy over time, reducing visibility during nighttime driving. The selling point for me was the promise of "no tools or sanding needed" and "professional results" without much effort.Setup and Ease of UseThe kit was straightforward and included two solutions labeled as Step 1 and Step 2. The instructions were simple and well-illustrated:Step 1 - Cleaning:I applied the first solution using the included applicator. It required a bit of scrubbing, but it effectively removed a lot of the surface grime and initial yellowing. After about 5 minutes per headlight, they already looked much better.Step 2 - Restoring:The second step was a clear-coat solution that you wipe on after cleaning. This part was quick and instantly made the lenses look shiny and clear. The product dried quickly and left no streaks.Performance and ResultsThe results were impressive for such a simple process. The headlights went from cloudy and yellow to clear and shiny. While it’s not a brand-new look like a professional workshop might deliver, the difference was night and day. The visibility at night improved noticeably, which made driving much safer.DurabilityAfter a month, the headlights still look clear, though I’ve noticed a slight reduction in the gloss finish. The kit doesn't seem to include any UV-protective layer, so I'll probably need to reapply in 3–6 months to maintain the clarity.ProsEase of Use: No tools or sanding required, just elbow grease.Quick Process: Took me about 15–20 minutes for both headlights.Affordable: Much cheaper than replacing the headlight covers or paying for professional restoration.Effective Results: Great for moderately oxidized headlights.ConsDurability: Results seem temporary; it’s more of a quick fix than a long-term solution. Not for Severe Damage: Deep scratches or heavy oxidation might need sanding or professional help.No UV Protection: The kit could include a UV sealant to prolong the results. This kit is perfect for someone looking for an affordable and quick solution to improve the clarity of their headlights. It delivers solid results without requiring advanced skills or additional tools. However, it might not be suitable for heavily damaged lenses or those seeking long-term results without reapplication.

I was really hoping this was going to work because I have one headlight that is just driving me nuts with a bit of yellowing and oxidation. It was pretty simple to use for sure. The sponge that it comes with is pretty well made so it doesn’t fall apart while using it like some others do. It was also a quick process too. It took all of 10 minutes maybe. That was even applying three applications. Well, it didn’t seem to do much as far as removing a whole lot but it did seem to clean them up pretty well. I’m not sure if I can say yet though that it actually removed the oxidation because it seems to have just washed them off. The yellowing is still there and you can definitely still see the scratches and fuzziness of the discoloring. All in all I’m going to say this did not work and isn’t worth the value that’s being charged.
