I couldn’t turn the gain down low enough on my belt packs, very hot mic. There’s no being subtle you’re wearing a mic, the arm for the mic is very bulky. And the packaging is very flimsy. I’m not sure why Amazon thought putting a heavy spool of 12ga speaker wire and these mics in one box was a good idea, but the cheap plastic packaging was crushed, broken, mic was out of the box and free floating. Amazed they still worked, but not keeping them.

Very muffled sound, you get what you pay for. Cannot compete with the quality of a $200+ mic

I bought this mainly as an experiment. It was to be something I could use cheaply with my Line6 headset transmitter that would better reject feedback for speech and announcements and to see if using a headset mic worked well for me before I made a big investment. It would be good enough for speech, and it exceeded my expectations. It is reasonably good for use for use by lead vocalists, as well, at least on preliminary tests. I can confidently say that it holds its own against similar products from the big names that cost five times as much. Longevity? Who knows, but at the current price, buying a few spares is not a big burden.
