I got this for my Jeep, as I'm a taller guy, seeing the speed in the center of the dash when I normally choose the view of my fuel mileage rather than the digital speedometer as the center view of my dash. This displays the speed nicely onto the windshield.

We will see if the seller responds on if there is some method for changing the calibration but as it is the item is totally useless to me.I have never seen a GPS unit so far off before. It appears to be about 5% too fast at all speeds. Meaning at 65mph it shows 68mph and at 100mph it shows 105mph.The physical design looks nice and works well and it's nicely visible in my windshield without needing the reflection layer added. It's just too bad it is terrible at its one job.UPDATE: Confirmed with seller no means to change calibration. Its unlikely that any unit will be very accurate as it is very likely none of these are individually calibrated at all.

Brightness is good. Super easy install. Reacts quickly to braking and acceleration, and it looks good reflectedon the windshield... but.... its constantly 4-8 miles per hour off. If you can get used to that... then you'll like it.

This one is what I have been wanting and like it but...see, several years back I owned a Pontiac Grand Prix GTP. I mention this because at the time only the GTP and the higher end Bennevilles had built-in HUDs. I LOVED that feature on my GTP!!! Okay, I really loved the heated seats in winter time too, but this GTP was the first car I'd owned that had a heads up display that shined on the windshield so I always knew how fast I was going - which kept me from getting speeding tickets for sure as the GTP was an easy car to "lead-foot it" in! I also taught my daughter to drive in that GTP and it was easy for me to have her check her speed in the HUD on the windshield. So telling my story, I was happy to see this HUD that once again shown the speed on the windshield instead of the stand up one that had been sitting right where I can see it above the steering wheel. The only thing I am disappointed in with this HUD is that it does not have the different displays of the stand up one or the GTP's HUD. I would have liked to see the direction I'm traveling shown - just N, NW, S, SE and so on in a corner. Changing the display from one color to another - my GTP's HUD was red, this one is green. Anyway, I am happy with the speed displaying on the windshield as I used to see on my Grand Prix.
