The batteries will not accept a recharge. Product itself was only good for a couple of uses before it is now necessary to plug in and even then it will not ramp up to achieve the desired speed necessary. A year later and we only go a couple of good uses out of it. Do not recommend this product.

I purchased this product about 2 years ago. The machine doesn't throw strikes, balls are all over the place. I bought 2 batteries that never worked. So disappointed, I recommend the GoPro whiffle machine. I spent about 300$ on the GoPro. It actually throws strikes and balls come out the machine faster. You get what you pay for, don't waste your money.

I read an article on the athletic about how one of the pro baseball players who is routinely on base trains. It hinted at him using a little red machine that cost around 150 bucks and was incredibly difficult to hit off of. After reading the reviews from other folks saying how inaccurate this thing pitches and I figured it was it! Used it a ton. It’s a lot of fun. It is indeed very hard to hit off of, but that’s what I like about it. Pitching in a real baseball game isn’t consistent, why should what you train with? It’s not turned me or my son into a major league hitter yet, but it’s given us a lot of fun and tough batting practice sessions. It does feel a bit flimsy, but it’s lasted several years for me. Gave it four stars because the battery has been finicky, but that’s easily replaced for $30.There is another company who has a version of this for 4 times the price. Not used it so can’t say how it compares. But for the price, very happy.

Ok first I was a bit thrown off after initial setup and first use. almost to the point of sending back, but after a few modifications I made, this is actually a very clever pitching machine. Sure it’s lower budget but it’ll do the job. First we set up in the driveway pointing into the garage. Our back stop is a hitting net which we used a small tarp clamped to the net to prevent ball from traveling through. The machine is roughy 15’ or so away. Dialed in the speed and went to work.Second, I installed a flag, yes a flag from a kabob stick and a piece of tape to rotate with the feeder so I know when the balls about to come. There’s literally no indication a balls about to be pitch till it’s too late. The flag works perfectly.Thirdly, yes there’s more. I taped off 2 of the 4 feeder slots to slow down the repetition. Now I’ve got time to set, focus, and swing.Ok there’s a fourth modification- I removed the ball keeper which in this machine it’s flawed. That’s the main complaint from users is getting multiple balls at once. Easy to remove. Literally 30 seconds to remove, pull the hopper and unclip the little black keeper, now NO more stuck balls. My son who’s 12u pony ball loves it. I play adult fast pitch and I like it. Great to warm up before game time. It’s not a professional grade batting cage but it’ll work for our needs when time and energy become an issue. I recommend this product but you’ll need to modify itEdit: after 2 years of ownership the AC adaptor went bad. Called customer service and they were so nice and helpful. Mom and pop type business. Very helpful and sent out a new adapter. We also use this machine for pop fly drills and ground ball drill. Possibilities can be endless. Catchers drills too. Be smarter than the machine and you’ll be happy

One of the worst hitting products I’ve ever owned. And the quality is horrific. I immediately felt like I had been ripped off. The accuracy is an absolute joke. It is highly inconsistent. It’s very poorly constructed and of the worst possible quality. I would feel ripped off if I paid $20 for it, let alone $165.

Nothing good to say here. Only good from 15' indoors, maybe 10' if outside.

Where do I begin? This is an interesting device that does a pretty good job of shooting plastic balls out the front for you to hit. For the price, I can't complain. It gives my 8-year old a ton of pitches to swing at and in just an hour, he was hitting better. Hitting those small plastic balls will no doubt make him a better hitter. Again, for the price, this is a good product. While the design is pretty ingenious, the manufacturing is awful. Super cheap construction and a bit flimsy. It's as if this is still in prototype mode. The rotating wheels take a bit of work to get just right and the ball will definitely curve with the right adjustment. Important to point out that the soft squishy balls don't work well. I figured this out because the rotating wheels need to grab the ball as it comes down the pipe and then gets compressed before shooting out. The squishy balls compress too much and don't accelerate enough. Result is some slow dropping pitches. But they could be good for real small kids and indoors. If they used better plastic and better parts, this would be (no pun intended) a Home Run. One glaring issue is that the electronic board is completely exposed. You can see it between the rotors. Must be careful not to get this unit wet. It was raining today and I was concerned about this. The time between pitches is a bit fast. This is due to the feeder rotating quickly with no dial speed control My last and biggest gripe is that there is no indicator light for the rechargeable batteries. So I have no idea if it is in fact charging up. We'll have to see. Check back again in a month to see how we are doing.
