Our Bridge Club serves lunches at tournaments. We were desperate for a system to keep homemade food warm. This machine is small, light/portable and efficient.HeatMax went out of their way to make us satisfied with our purchase. We are going to love this machine. It works great!

Very sloppy tolerances, have to slam the door shut. Doesn’t feel insulated so lots of heat loss and have to drape towels over it to keep even heat inside. So lazy with the film covering the metal, riveted right through it, rolled corners together, mounted hardware on top of it; it’s impossible to get all of it off. I paid extra because it’s made in the US thinking it would be of a better quality but my God I would be embarrassed to ship this thing. It’s not even package with pride, foam protecting the corners is too thin and mine was damaged.

Showed up earlywas a + we needed it for an event.delivery was a little hard on the product had a few small dents from shipping but not over concerned with themRemoved the warmer from the box and used my heat gun to remove the plastic covering and it came right offPlugged it in and set the temp to number 4 and it heated right up to 150 degrees and turned it up and it was 180 + in no time satisfied customer thank you

I bought with some skepticism given other reviews. Package showed up in new, great condition. Wrapping was very easy to take off if you start in the corner. I just used to hold a brisket and burnt ends for my family Christmas. All turned out great

This machine works great! Keeps everything warm without drying out. I definitely recommend it if you need to hold food in a warm safe place.

I’ve held brisket, beef ribs, and pork ribs in this thing for 12+ hours no problem. I added a full size hotel pan w/ lid for a larger water pan to mine. Holds set temperature within 10-15 degrees no problem and averages the desired temperature over time w/ the help of a water pan no problem.They include a small water pan if you request it at the time of purchase.The device comes wrapped in a ‘scratch’ protective film/sticker. It takes a little time to remove this after unboxing. It looked like this film was put on to protect it during shipping and then the screws were put on. Just loosen the screws a bit to peel the film off and re-tighten.It’s a great investment overall because now I can make my BBQ a day in advance without the stress of worrying whether everything will finish on time by the time my guests arrive, or simply when my family is ready to eat. I now intentionally cook my BBQ up to 10-15 degrees lower than where I would historically finish it, and then let the food rest and render for a long hold. This prevents over cooking. Meat comes out much more moist and never dried out.I added my own temp probe for added temperature awareness.

I bought this product because it was made in the USA and I assumed that the quality would be better than its foreign counterpart. As advertised, this unit is very light. The unit was packed well and there was no damage to the cardboard shipping box, however, there was a dent on one of the side panels upon removing the unit from the shipping box. The unit was wrapped in shrink wrap and trapped within the shrink wrap were many metal shavings and aluminum drill spirals. Once the shrink wrap was removed, the door handle fell off and onto the floor. On the floor next to the handle was the door handle pin. I put the handle back on and put the pin back in the hole but either the pin was too small or the drilled hole was too large because the pin fell right through the hole again and the handle again fell off onto the floor. I was going to return the unit but because I needed to use the unit for a weekend fund raising event, I installed a 4mm bolt and lock nut which took care of the door handle situation. Workmanship was poor, I'm disappointed that this product was made in the USA.

The good: Holds temp great, very lightweight, fairly inexpensive.The bad: The brackets that hold the shelves were riveted on crooked so the shelves aren’t straight. Seems like that should have been something noticed. I didn’t feel like sending it back for just that issue because it doesn’t really hinder much so I just dealt with it. A little disappointed that I paid that much for something but perfect but oh well. It’s a decent holder anyways.
