This was the best value I could find. Everything fit and worked well. I have had this rack for over a year now and it’s holding up well. It’s stored outdoors and shows no sign of rust or damage. We have taken this on long trips a number of times, it’s sturdy and fits well with our Armada and our old Odyssey. The cover is great to have, it’s kept our luggage nice and dry.

I don’t know why I never considered this before, but this is an absolute lifesaver! We travel frequently and are a family of 2 adults, 2 teens and 2 dogs. I packed our clothes in packing cubes and put them into two storage tubs. I could easily fit 3 tubs across and still have room for another bag. This road trip was sooo much better with the extra room.Installation was easy, but do recommend two people to put it together initially. The rack itself isn’t too heavy, my husband installed himself. No road noise and the straps and ratchet straps it came with worked well-just make sure you know the proper way to use the ratchet strap. Bag is heavy duty but sides do not stand up. We didn’t end up folding it, but process seems pretty easy.I drive a 2021 VW Atlas for reference.

This tow hitch basket was perfect for storage on our road trip. It is rust free and durable! For the money it exceeded expectations. It is foldable and makes it easy to store. It's super easy to use and holds so many things! We were able to take all our things everywhere, it was great!

Very impressed with the packaging. Everything was easy to put together. It does not come with tools included but that should be obvious. All the hardware was accounted for. The directions on the other hand were not in depth and it took some common knowledge and common sense for proper assembly. Im not knocking off a star for that but I hope in the future the instructions could be more in depth. I digress, this was easy to assemble and will update after our 4 hour trip to see how the bag holds up along with the rack.

The product is very well made and has performed well. The bag appears to be formed and shapely but it's not. It's flexible and conforms to the items inside. As far as performance goes, no impact at all but it's not aesthetically pleasing as it appears messy and asymmetrical.

I bought this rack to give us extra space for gear when heading to the beach. The soft box that came with it is actually water tight. We just drove back in the rain and everything in the bag stayed dry. The material reminds me of the yellow rubberized rain coats when had as kids in the 70's. It has a very good zipper plus Velcro strips to keep it closed. The straps fasten easily to the raised rail and keep it secure.It does come with other tie down straps to use when not using the provided bag. We did not use them, but they seem to be of good quality and are very similar to what i already have for securing things like our kayaks in the truck bed.The welds appear to be quality and it was light enough for me to carry into our hotel room so it could be removed and not be in the way at the beach. The separation from the back of my jeep gladiator was large enough that the tail gate could be lowered with the rack full of gear. Very surprising feature from my point of view.It went together easily, but the one thing to remember is to bring the wrench you use to secure the anti rattle bracket with you if you want to remove it.I have had several similar racks in the past, and this one seems to on of the best built and designed. The raised rail around the base is a big plus.I would definitely buy this product again and will recommend it to others.I would suggest they update their manual to show how to use thread the straps through the connectors. I knew how to do it because I have used these types of straps before, to others with less experience, they could be difficult to properly thread. A quick Google does provide good answers on how to thread them.
