Cable’s to long. Would only go in two gears high and low . Said it would fit 2005 Polaris ranger 700 xp it doesn’t . Part number for ome shifter cable is 7081209

Description says 2005 - 2010 Polaris Ranger 500 / 700. Did not question, left OLD cable on the machine to pull / guide NEW cable in place. Connected new cable to end of old one. Worked it into place. NEW cable is TOO SHORT. The machine IS a 2009 Polaris Ranger 500 EFI. (2005 - 2010) The old cable is 91” the new one received is only 79”. Can not contact anyone.

This is supposed to fit a 2007 Ranger 700 XP and has the correct part number, but it does not fit and will not work. This is too long and does not allow the machine to be shifted through all of the gears. The lower section is too big to fit into the bracket it is supposed to fit into.The seller at least made an effort to make it right.
