Super strong magnet, good clip, only gripe is the screw that holds the magnet and the clip together comes loose constantly.

These are pretty good clips. Easily attaches to your belt with a foldable clip. The locking mechanism seems a bit weak to me and will probably be it's ultimate point of failure but so far it works as described. Magnets are very strong rubber coated plates and will hold most lightweight tools like screwdrivers and pliers. It will even hold a small hammer if the sides are totally flat. Overall, really happy with these. I've used them already while going up in the attic to do some work and it kept all of my screws in a nice neat pile on my belt. Only con is that it's max belt width is just 1.25" so just be aware. Otherwise, really nice clips.

First, I'm a product tester meaning my reviews are 100% critical. I'm 63 and retired after 32 years USMC so I've seen good and the bad. Wish I'd had these decades ago. When you're working you just don't have enough places to hold on to things it seems. These are strong, well made and I couldn't be happier. Zero cons

This review is for the Heavy Duty Magnetic Tool Belt Clip, 2 pack, at a price of $13.99.Adjustibility: This belt clip features two snap-in bars which adjust how the belt is positioned vertically and can be narrowed or removed to fit different widths of belts up to two inches. One negative aspect of these bars is that the bars can easily fall out when the belt clip is jostled while it is open, such as when the belt clip is being slid onto a belt. On mine, I may end up having to stick the bars into place with thin VHB tape or a rubberized glue to reduce the chances of losing them. The magnet can be unscrewed and re-attached in one of nine different positions, for example to reposition the magnet on the belt clip to better balance heavy objects, or to move the magnet slightly sideways on the belt clip if it is interfering with something else on the belt. These belt clips do not appear to come with written instructions, so their adjustability may not be obvious to people using these.Strength: The magnet can easily hold handheld tools such as pliers, wrenches, screwdrivers, and snips, although I am not sure I would want to use it for a heavier or long-handled object such as a hammer or pry bar. The magnet can also easily hold smaller items such as drill bits, power driver bits, and sockets.Durability: The belt clip features a metal hinge pin and a lockable spring-loaded release lever. Once I clipped this to my belt and locked it, I was not able to have it become accidentally unlatched by leaning over in different directions, crouching down, or brushing up against objects. The latching mechanism appears to be fairly strong, however because it is plastic, there is always a risk of damage to the belt clip if it is snagged by something forcefully enough.Overall, this will benefit me greatly while I fumble around with hand tools and bits while up on a ladder.

The lock on the belt latch, while a good idea, is too easily jostled out of position to serve its intended function. The magnets seem less powerful than advertised. A Holstery MagMaster will hold a 12" bar clamp on my belt with no issues. This item could not do the same; the clamp fell off during normal use without being strongly jostled. I would not trust this item for anything very large or heavy. I can only give this item a limited recommendation.

I am very impressed by these magnetic tool belt clips. The magnet is very strong and they are large and hold so much stuff. Because they are so strong, I can even use them to hold my screwdriver or pliers as well as parts. I have attached one to my shop apron and even though my apron has lots of pockets, this is great to hold little items. The clip portion is nice as well - it has a locking feature so that you don't accidentally knock the release button, which also works very nicely. Since this is a 2 pack, I feel like these are an excellent value, especially since they are so large. I'm now wondering how I've managed without them for so long. Last weekend I was installing a couple of exterior garage lights and I can't tell you how many times I had to go up and down the ladder due to dropping nuts, bolts and my screwdriver. Never again! I don't see how you can go wrong with these. I've used wrist magnets in the past, but since you are presumably using your hands while working, I've knocked screws off of them in the past. This is definitely a necessary upgrade for me.
