I was really impressed with this product. When I ordered it, I did raise an eyebrow at the cost. After getting it in my hands, I get it. It is a hefty security chain that is built well. It features a hardened chain enclosed in a shroud. I got it to secure my family's bikes on a rack when we travel. I also have an open trailer and can use this to secure anything I might be concerned would otherwise walk away. I believe locks and chains are meant to slow down a thief to the point they look elsewhere. I'm not a thief, so I don't know all the options available to them or how well this really would thwart their desire to steal my stuff. However, I'm impressed with the quality of the chain and believe it will do what I needed. At any rate, I don't believe it will be the weak point in the security "chain".Would recommend.

I got this for locking up a motorcycle inside a garage, and for that purpose it's going to work well and give me piece of mind. The next step is installing some concrete D-ring anchor into the floor to further lock the bike down. Theives these days will use a (maybe stolen) bastter powered grinder and get through almost any kind of chain/lock, even the most expensive ones. So this could be a good deterrent only if the robbers in your area are unsophisticated, really lazy, or have other less guarded items to steal.The weight of this chain is not as high as the Fugetaboutit chain, but it's nearly as intimidating in my opinion. It comes in a little bag, and it will definitly add some heft to whatever bag you're carrying it in. The build quality looks decent, and the length is good enough to go from front to back wheel and maybe even through the frame of some bikes.It's way better than nothing, but you might try pairing it with a front brake disk lock with audible warning.

This review is for the WARLION brand 10 foot, 3/8 inch security chain.I had a shoulder injury recently and I can really feel it when lifting this chain. Product listing claims 12.8 pounds and I believe it!The chain comes in a basic, but sturdy bag. It is very similar to the bags that OKG chains come in. I like the nylon sleeve that surrounds the chain as well. I can’t imaging lugging this chain around on any sort of bike. I got this to secure my generator in my back yard.The product card which was attached to the bag claims the chain has a hardness of 700+ 80 HV10 (roughly 60 Rockwell). That’s about middle of the pack compared to other vendors. OKG claims their chains have a hardness of 780 HV or 63 Rockwell. That is obviously superior to this chain.I am not familiar with this brand, so I did a quick hardness test using a metal file. It did NOT scratch the chain.This chain surprised me. The quality and durability is higher than I anticipated. I really did not expect this unknown brand to shrug off my metal file.Looking around at other products at about the same price point, the OKG products have a higher hardness and a good reputation. Also, this product is a copy from other established products. There is nothing here to set it apart or above the competition. That said, it is still a good product that I will be using to secure my generator.

This long 10 foot chain is extra heavy duty and sturdy as can be. Very high quality cut proof chain for high security applications. It's heavy but it gets the job done. This chain looks and feels great with the sheath cover that makes it really easy and comfortable to handle and secure.This chain is massive overkill for securing my electric bikes to the truck and bike rack on trips, but it's great to know that the bikes are protected by this high security chain. Plenty of chain to wrap the bikes several times and secure them to the bike rack. It would be easier for a thief to remove my tow hitch and take the whole thing than to try to cut this chain off. Thick and strong links. Very happy with this item.

This is a very heavy chain so be aware of that! I got it put on my ebike, and it does fit inside the hard shell back fender bag but 12 pounds is a bit much to haul around. I think it will work better on the electric mini-bike, one of us will ride an ATV and it can be stored in the ATV's trunk and used to lock up the bike when we hit the trail and make stops. The quality is very high, this is a great chain and will be also be used to lock up the ATV on the trailer. It has a nice sleeve around it and will not rust out in the weather.

I got this to use for my motorcycle, and I'm so glad that I did. This chain is heavy, and I mean heavy! But that's probably what is necessary to deter thieves away who will try and steal your motorcycle or other items. To be honest I'm not sure what it would take for anyone to break it, but it's pretty clear that it would take someone who is very skilled to pull it off. I'm not sure about it's durability yet, but I would imagine that it's off the chain haha! This chain comes highly recommended from me!!!
