While they work fine, these stands are NOT as heavy duty compared to the Gator alternative. The tubular steel is very thin and the center joint is made from plastic. The real benefit of this EDSFAM version is it can go high (47cm or a little higher) which is good if you want to mount speakers above your computer monitors in a multi monitor setup.

I had to take my studio monitors off of these stands due to the nuts working loose. But by replacing the nuts it came with with locking washers and lock nuts and now it works great. Thick metal pipes and thick metal plates for your speakers to sit on. If it didn't have the loosening issue they'd be outstanding.

Now that I have these things assembled, they're doing just fine. I was impressed by the quality and thickness of the materials. However, getting them assembled was extremely frustrating. The screws barely fit in to their slots. I'd guess that they skipped a step in manufacturing where the holes are drilled out an additional time--I want to say this is screw tolerance? I'm a bit out of my depth, but what I do know is that these screws did fit for the first two or three turns, then became exceptionally difficult to turn. I knew I'd be stripping the screws if I tried to force them in further, and they were ALL like this. Again, this is not my area of expertise--I'm guessing if someone had a whole workshop that was filled with drills and bits, they'd have the right tool to just barely expand these holes and make the screws glide in easily. I am not that someone. The only bit of luck I had is the fact that these stands came with one extra screw, so I decided that would be the sacrificially stripped screw and used it to painstakingly wear down the holes. I screwed it in as far as I could, backed it out, and then screwed it in from the other side, over and over, until the metal was worn down enough. There were tiny bits of either black paint or metal filings that would fall out from this process, and I'm glad I had a small vacuum to deal with that, because metal filings laying around feel particularly risky. After a long time wearing the screw holes down, they finally felt like the right size for the included screws, and I was able to assemble the stands.I wish the height was a little more customizable, given that using the safety bar limits the height to a few widely-spaced slots. But aside from that, the stands are holding up well. I just wish the assembly process wasn't such an ordeal; there was a time when I thought I was just going to have a useless pile of parts instead of speaker stands.

These stands are well built and fairly sturdy. I should have read the dimensions because they’re a little too wide for my use. I took a star off because the threading on one of the stands were pretty tight and the screws provided were really soft, so it took some time trying to get the screws in without stripping it.

Made in the USA! The product is made well! Had to clean out the paint in the screw holes. Other than that! The metal is well made. The connector (to the table) is very well made and designed. This company (EDM Fam). Got ahold of me immediately!! Offered a resolution. As I said the product is very well made! I have JBL 308s sitting on the stands! (That’s the biggest JBL home monitors)! You won’t be disappointed!

These speaker monitor stands are exactly what I needed for my keyboard setup. Instead of holding speakers, I clamp them onto my keyboard stand and place my RC 202 loop station on them, which works perfectly for me.The stands can be tilted, so there’s no issue with them sitting against the wall. They are of good quality and very sturdy. Highly satisfied with this setup!

Literally opened the box and set one up and it wouldn’t hold my Alesis speakers up. I tried tightening the bolt to keep the speaker from slanting forward and it stripped out with little effort. Don’t waste your money here.

These were great for my Behringer Truth B1030A monitors. I had them mounted on their sides and it fit perfect.
