does the job...goes thru a small container real fast tho...best buy a half-gallon water spraying container to have to put out the thingsaround the area that "are" going to catch fire too...this is great...!

I got this to replace one i currently have that I use for shou sugi ban. I thought this one would make the process a lot quicker and more efficient since the flame is always on and it has an easy light feature. It does not work as advertised. Setting it up and using it is very easy and strait forward. The issue arises when you pull the trigger to get the “turbo” flame. You only get that flame for about 5-6 seconds tops then it dies down to just slightly stronger than it was before using the trigger. It is such a weak flame when it does down that it is unusable to efficiently burn boards greatly increasing the time it normally takes me. I didn’t see an option to talk to their customer service which is unfortunate as it is possible I just received a defective device. I connected it to a 20 gal propane tank utilizing the provided accessories. Very dissatisfied with the product.

It is way faster to pull the weed then to try to burn them down with this.It does come with everything you need and it functions well as a flaming object, but our Colorado weeds were very tough and this did not burn them down, no matter how long you torched them. The base and root were still very viable.

It may just be my unit but it seems to be leaking propane at the nozzle which comes back behind the flame shroud and melted the ignition wire.. besides that, it kicks a**

I bought this torch to kill weeds. The convenience of being able to use a 20lb tank or 1lb canister is great. This torch is well built and works every time. The 20lb tank works better and hotter and is great for larger areas. I use the 1lb canister on the more remote areas. 1lb canisters lasts about 10-15 mins depending on how large of a flame you want to use.. I would highly recommend this torch.Cons.. the flame is too wide for pin point burning but I prefer the larger flame for every other application..

I love this Well made weed torch, it can be used with 1lb propane cylinder and 20lb standard propane tank with the POL hose(included). The flame is extremely powerful and long. And it is very easy to light and operate. It is so comfortable to control the handle trigger to adjust the flame smoothly by one hand. I only spent 10 minutes cleaning weeds between the cracks in my sidewalk and driveway that would usually take me a little over an hour to do. I think I also can use start the BBQ charcoal. I Highly recommend it, and I will buy one for my friend as a birthday gift.

This thing does and great job and it actually fun to use. Love to burn those weeds to ash. Definitely satisfying that for sure. We found using a light duty dolly when using large propane tank makes it much easier to move around.
