Only positive is that the 2 rechargeable batteries charged right up. However, trying to snap in either of the 2 cutting blade units is a huge chore; they just don't fit properly. I finally got the grass blade in and it cut fairly well. BUT the large shrubbery trimmer blade is absolutely useless! Once you do finally get it in place, including giving it a good pound with your fist, the blade simply doesn't cut. Period. The blade teeth don't even line up properly or close enough to cut anything. And if you don't hold the unit perfectly horizontal the blades stop working all together. I bought this because the size was perfect for me & I really wanted a light-weight reghargeable unit. But this one is a complete waste of ANY money. Gonna junk it.

This trimmer does a terrific job. The battery lasts a good long time, and it came with two so I always have one ready to go.UPDATE: Not so good, the first time I went to change which cutters I wanted, the "insides" fell apart! I small piece of metal was loose and I could find no instructions or picture showing where it came from. Therefore the unit is no longer any good!! I have yet to throw it out hoping for a response saying a new one might be sent to me.

I was surprised at the ease of putting the hedge trimmer blade in place and the fact that the batteries charged so quickly. The hedge trimmer cut through a 20 foot row of ixoras in record time and then I went on to trim two hawthorn hedges. The battery lasted over an hour, and since there are two batteries, I was able to finish the trimming job in one session. The only issue was that some of the larger, thicker branches took more that one pass to cut them. Over all, I found this to be the best garden tool I have purchased in quite some time.

Really love the avail. angles. My favorite is the grass trimmer for cutting around my edging and removing/trimming overgrown loriope especially. You can go forward,backward, up,down, to the base of edging to cut. A weed wacker just throws it everywhere. This tool controls it in the desired area. Battery time is great for trimmer, battery time for hedger which works great, is shorter, guess due to length of blade vs other one.This is an awesome tool for defining the area you want to shape,trim, landscape before digging everything up so u can get a visual of what u want to achieve.Love it!!! 😁
