This fuse box work out exactly for my project, I ran 5 different applications on the fuse box. I am very satisfied.

I used this fusebox as a replacement for the OEM fusebox for my '84 Honda Nighthawk. It worked perfectly, I mounted it underneath the headlight with some hardware and it has continued to work with no issues for a couple of months. I have not ridden in the rain, but am curious how it will hold up to it if I do. I will report back if necessary.

The bottom of the unit is actually not sealed at all. I'm sure this helps let moisture evaporate out but was a surprise to me based on the description. The metal contacts are very close to the bottom of the unit, so I would be worried about running a positive wire through it if it was flat mounted on a grounded surface. Fortunately I had some spare plastic sheet to use under it when I mounted on the inside of the fender. It was decently made, but if the bottom of the block is open to the elements, I don't entirely understand why they bothered with an o ring around the top. Be careful pushing on the spade terminals as they're easy to bend.

Gran producto y difícil de conseguir en refaccionarias electromotrices de mucha utilidad para el montaje de accesorios electricos

Please don't malign this nice stout little fuse block. It is hefty and has a clip-on dust cover with an o-ring seal. Of course it's not waterproof, neither are the connecting lugs, not at this price. You should be able to screw this down without fear of cracking it if you use too much force. This is a basic block that does what it's supposed to do. If you can't wire it from a lack of a main feed, you may not understand the concept fully. The drawing shows how to wire the six-terminal version in 3 different formats, including one in-feed with a master fuse and five out-feeds with lesser fuses, highly recommended if you are hooking up to an un-fused power point.Buy this.

the description of this item is a little lacking. It's ok for the price but it's not sealed at all so it would not be good for under the hood

I needed a bank of fuses for my ham radio "Go-kit" so that the radio and each accessory could be fused separately. I was going to use the small tubular fuses that come with our radios, but decided that 6 of them would take too much space, and would have to be hidden away so that all the exposed metal on the holders would be protected from shorting. I much prefer the "blade" type automotive fuses. So I cut a rectangular hole in the front of my control panel, and mounted this fuse block behind the panel, such that only the tops of the fuses are visible. This way I can easily see: 1) which fuses are blown; 2) what sizes each circuit is using, and then, 3) I can easily change fuses without opening anything. On the back side of the fuse block, I soldered together the "line" side lugs and ran that wire directly to the + side of the battery (through a toggle switch). Each circuit is then connected to the "load" side of the fuses through it's own female solderless connector. The clear plastic cover cap on the fuse block is very nice, but actually in the way, so I discarded it.

Same complaints that others have said, the photo shows 3, but you only receive 1 block that has 6 terminals. The bottom is exposed creating a hazard for mounting on the outside. Though I will say that the top cover is very nice, and easily snaps on and off, which will be a convenient place to label different fuses for accessories

I ordered this fuse block for a project that I was working on and I want one that was solid and good quality. This unit fit for what I needed and it works great. Fuses fit without issue and the dust cover helps protect the fuses. Keep in. Mind that this unit it not water proof and the bottom side is open to the elements. So moisture can get in unless one takes effort to seal the underside with some silicone sealer which is what I did after my terminations were completed.

I used a couple of this in a re-wire project for an old car. They work well, and seem pretty tough. I like the clear covers that they come with, although I'm concerned about how long the securing tabs will hold up. They haven't broken yet, but seem a little delicate - especially under the hood exposed to hot air! Time will tell...
