If you have a big, heavy, oversized, or upgraded rig, upgrading to these sway bars make a world of difference. You gain peace of mind driving knowing that you are tracking straight and not getting pulled & pushed by passing trucks. Definitely worth the money.

Wow, what a difference this made to our motorhome. I also added a Safe-t-plus steering stabilizer and Moog sway bar links. It made a huge difference in the stability and driveability. Now going 70 in the highway is so much easier and less stressful. My wife even commented on how much less the motorhome swayed from trucks passing us and when there were cross winds trying to push us around. The upgrade is well worth the cost.

Well worth the time and cost if you want to improve the stability of your ride. I have both front and rear Hellwig sway bars on my Forest River 2430 on the Ford E450, huge improvement. Stays flat on corners, stays steady when parked and moving around inside the coach- less need for stabilizers. I haven't noticed any negative feel when on dirt roads even with potholes. Highly recommend.

Another item that should be standard with some vehicles. Very heavy duty, powder coated, easy to install. I would recommend installing Safe-T-Plus if your going to upgrade your sway bar. Huge improvement. You need to have the right tools. On my 2020 Ford E450 motorhome, I Ramped up six inches to make it easy to install the sway bar. Make sure you work safe. Your going to need another person to help out. Check your manufacture for proper torque. I used some lock-tight but you don’t have too. Impact drill is a must.

We have a 2017 RV on a Ford E450 body. Leave it to Ford - junk in the front - for RV handling. We switched out the Ford small truck sway bar and put these on. HOLY COW! Wish we had done this on day 1 after we got the RV. So much better handling on straight driving and turns. No wobbling that Ford junk did. Took wife and I to install but it wasn't that difficult and once it was in and done, SHE was happy driver. Happy Wife - Happy Life !!

Hellwig has the best customer service. I installed the rear and front Sway Bars on my 2016 Sunseeker RV. The install instructions were straight forward and to the point. While installing the front Sway Bar I discovered a stripped mounting hole on the Ford Chassis. The next day I drove the RV to a Truck Shop near my home to have the mounting hole on the chassis re-tapped for an oversized bolt. During the drive one of the mounting brackets got bent and the truck shop said it couldn’t be reused. I contacted Hellwig and explained my situation. The overnighted be a new bracket to my home and I received it in less than 24 hours. No questions asked and no cost even though it wasn’t their fault or responsibility.Hellwig will continue to get my business! Great Company!

Bought both front and rear for 2106 Winnebago Minnie Winnie 31H, based on 2015 Ford E450. Tried to install at home, not able to break loose bolts working under Motor home. Took to an independent repair shop in Loveland that does RV upgrades and had them install both, do Front End Alignment. Pricey install but drive home was best drive so far. Stopped rock and roll going over bumps, felt a lot more stable in driving on rural roads and some wind. Will wait until first trip north to Wyoming to form final opinion. Ford should put these on the motorhome chassis instead of their "heavy duty" stabilizer bars. Would safe a lot of us from having to do this after buying a motor home.

AMAZING! Installed on a 2103 E450 Coachmen Class C 32' RV. The RV had 3200 miles on it and I'd had enough of the sway and roll. I installed this front sway bar, two Bilstein front shocks and a Hellwig rear sway bar all at the same time. Install was REALLY simple even though I was crawling on the ground (air tools do help). The front bar took 60 minutes, rear took 40 minutes and the shocks took about 15 minutes each. The vehicle now handles like a suburban. The passengers can actually get up and move around safely while driving down the road. Too bad the coach didn't come from the factory with heavy duty items like this.***UPDATE*** Oct, 2014 I have now driven this RV from Michigan to Alaska and 4000 miles later I couldn't be happier. I drove it, my wife drove it and my 75 year old father drove it. We all agree it handles like an SUV, even through the mountains. If you're considering sway bars for an RV, do yourself a favor, buy Hellwig products.
