Went over the bridge, tried to get into the visitors center but no parking and it was over flowing with people. Maybe next time, but I really wanted a snow globe! When this showed up, I was so please!

I am so glad I could find this item on Amazon, as these globes used to be sold only at National Parks or museums, and I was not near one. But it is exactly the same item as sold at the souvenir store at Golden Gate Bridge or SFMOMA. It is such a cool San Francisco souvenir or a gift for snow globe collector - the "snow" is the "fog" of San Francisco. The Golden Gate bridge is not the highest quality, rather crude and without details, but the fog is mesmerizing and hypnotizing when it swirls. It looks like some giant gas planet made of silver particles.

I went on a mother daughter trip to SF with my daughter and planned to purchase this globe when visiting the Golden Gate Bridge. Unfortunately, I was not checking in bags and couldn't take it on the plane with me. I was so happy to see that I could order on Amazon. It really does look like a fog globe. It's absolutely beautiful and a wonderful memory we will have of our trip together.

My 10-yr old son and I took a special 1:1 trip to San Francisco last fall and he bought this awesome fog globe at the Golden Gate Bridge shop. He’d been eyeing all sorts of various souvenirs throughout our trip and he knew this was THE ONE the moment he saw it. It’s been his prized possession. He’s shown it proudly to any friend who’s come over, shook and admired it all the time over the past 10 months. Then the other day he accidentally knocked it off his desk and it broke. Man he cried. He was so upset. I was so excited to find the exact same glove here on Amazon (with free shipping!) and it arrived safe and sound within a few days (even though the estimated arrival was still 7-14 days out). You may scoff at the price tag but this fog globe is worth every penny. It’s beautiful and the fog effect is mesmerizing. Thank you for creating such a special souvenir.
