For the price, this is a solid light vest! There's no flashlight, but the light on the front and the back is sufficient for visibility. I recommend!

The ”HENMI LED Reflective Running Vest, 5 Lights Colors” $10 (formerly $13) is quite good. This is one of 3 LED “vests” I checked out, it is good, but please read on for the full story. I tried out the red version. It has rubber flaps to protect the USB charging ports, which matters as another vest I tested lacked these. It supports a multitude of LED colors, which becomes a pain as you need to cycle through all the other colors (and blinking) to get to the color you want–on both the front and back LED sets. It does not remember the previous setting when turned on. This is my main reason for 4 stars instead of 5. I tested the red version and it equally compares in brightness to the others I tried. The ports are USB-C and a Y adapter to USB-A is provided. In Dec to Feb, I ordered and tested three different LED / reflective “vest” products for running or walking on poorly illuminated roads. During this period the prices cycled wildly, the largest being a drop of $5. All three share features that I imagine many such products share. Most strikingly, most importantly, great reflectivity to the slightest illuminance. To test this, I attached them to trash cans (to approximate humans) and photographed them under varying lighting conditions from approximately 105’ (32m) on a remote paved lane at night without moonlight, streetlights, or home illumination. All were excellent with “headlights” by which I mean my iPhone flashed greatly illuminated them at this long distance, but also they were visible at this distance without lights when their own LEDs were turned on. The iPhone camera mimicked the real-life experience that the vests could barely be seen at this distance if they were not turned on and the person/car/camera did not have lights on. In the case of a vehicle without lights on, the vests were all visible when they had the LEDs illuminated. All have two LED banks, front and back, and both with separate USB ports for power (you'd expect one but these are separate illuminators). The colors didn’t make a difference in darkness. I expect that a vehicle without lights would easily see the LEDs, but a vehicle with lights on will see the reflective belt so far away that the LEDs don’t matter. I have heavily tweaked the images to show what I saw as opposed to my iPhone’s ability to see way better than reality. Last and not least, the harness style vest has the advantage of twice the reflective surface, but the sash style is better looking.

I picked this up to wear when out and about, especially during the dark time of year where I live. Overall it works well, fits comfortably, and is easy to use. I also like the customizable options to select between different colors, and the various display patterns. One thing I don't love is that the design of it can get a little whacky to put on. I would prefer if they'd just attach the illuminated portion to a vest and do away with the belt portion. As is, it ends to get wrapped up in itself and can be kind of annoying to have to sort out.Additionally, I dislike the need to charge both lights separately. I am sure it's a cost issue, but I would have preferred if both the front and back lights could be charged with a single USB-C plug, rather than needing two plugs.Overall, though, I'm pleased with the performance of this item.

Got for hubby when he truck drives and he says it is comfortable, very bright in the dark, easy to use and is very light weight. Great buy

This definitely illuminates through the night. I absolutely love it. However, if you have a big back like me, you won’t be able to clip it front and back, but that still doesn’t change the fact that it’s able to glow strong in the night. This is an awesome product.

There is another one of these advertised for $9.99. I bought one and although both lights charged, when I went to try the vest six hours later, one of the lights wouldn't work. I returned it and bought this one. Fitting and putting these on is not the easiest but once you figure it out, it gets easier. This one had more controls over your fit and both lights work. On mine, one of shoulder straps came with a half twist in it so I cut the elastic in half, turned it around re sewed the other end to it. Also, this unit had the exact same lites, on/off switch as the other. I found this rather amusing. I imagine if I started drilling down to other "brands" I would find even more of essentially the same unit. They do appear to be bright enough. We'll see how this works out.
