I love the quality and look. However, I read the reviews, figured, the sizing can’t be THAT weird. It was. The piece that attaches to the girth is very long. The pieces that go around the breast fit very well on my 16.2 TB. But ultimately is not usable til I can punch holes in the girth strap.

Great quality leather, and I love the look of it, but the chest strap is WAY disproportionately long...be prepared to poke a TON of holes in it to make it fit.

I really like this breast plate, very comfortable for my horse. the only thing I would change is the way it attaches to the D rings on the saddle. The way it comes, you have to unbuckle/buckle it every time, but a couple of snaps makes it very easy.Seems to run a bit big, I have a TB and I had to punch a few holes.

I love the look and the quality. However the fit is strange. I bought the cob size for my petite 16hh TB, and the elastic part was too short, making it too tight on her chest. So I bought the horse size while I still had the cob size, and it was exactly the same! The only difference between the two was the length of the girth strap, which was too long on both sizes. I would recommend it for the quality but the sizing is just plain weird. I am not sure that either size will work for my horse.

the product was beautiful however the over-sized was still too small for my warm blood. But the overall product quality looked great
