Love Hercules stands, both guitar and music stands. So why only 4 stars? While this is ideal tabletop music stand, be aware that it's metal on the bottom, with no soft "feet" between the metal stand bottom and the desktop surface. I stuck on 4 small felt feet and now its just right. It really ought to come out of the box with surface protection included. It's the excellent Hercules quality we've come to expect from this company, just be aware it will scratch the surface below, without some extra protection.
