This stand works great. I love that it comes with a carry case. I take this to practice and to concerts. It is very sturdy and easy to put up and take down quickly.

A great portable music stand! Easy to set up and break down. Takes less than a minute to set up. Folds down to about 14 inches and fits into a slim pouch, which has a strap on it. Can display up to 3 sheets of music.

I used the Hercules music stand at a two-week music camp. It was reliable for holding the music securely and adjusting to various sitting and standing height and tilting requirements. The drawbacks for me were the weight and the difficulty writing on music. The weight is a tradeoff for having a stable stand. The screws to lock the sections to a given height did not prevent spinning when trying to write. I did not want to risk over tightening and stripping the screws. One would have to place cardboard behind the music and hold the stand while writing. Holding my viola and bow made it impractical to remove the music from the stand when annotating the music.If you need a stand that is portable and reliable, this should work for you.

I have bought several Hercules guitar stands and they have been rugged. Older ones had some aging problems, but I think Hercules have solved those quality issues, and have actually become better quality over time. This music stand is much more solid than my other portable, cheaper stands. That adds a little weight, but not much.

I have bought this music stand to replace exact same one I had been using for a few years of active use. It's light, compact yet reasonably sturdy and reasonably priced. It is hard to find this model (BS050B) in the US now, it seems to have been replaced by the BS100 model, which I also have and it's great and even sturdier, but not as compact as BS050. It took the seller about a month to deliver, but it was the best deal I could find online.

Comme tous les produits Hercules, celui-ci est d'une grande slidité et d'une remarquable stabilité. Très facile à plier et à déplier, on peut le régler d'une seule main (après un premier réglage de la vis de serrage lors de la première utilisation). Il n'y a aucun papillon à serrer à chaque fois qu'on le régler en hauteur : vous le placez à l'emplacement voulu, et il reste en place ! Le système est bien au point et parfaitement fiable : le tube central ne bouge pas, même une fois les partitions posées dessus.Il est cependant un peu plus fin que son "grand frère" le BS100B : . Il n'a pas non plus, contrairement à ce dernier, des gouttières au niveau du support à partitions, lesquelles permettraient de placer des livres plus lourds (comme ceux de gammes ou d'exercices) ou plusieurs classeurs l'un devant l'autre. Cependant, il a, si je puis dire, les défauts de ses qualités, puisqu'en réalité, si ces atouts sont manquants, c'est surtout parce qu'il est très léger et d'un encombrement limité. Il est donc très pratique à transporter, et peut sans problème soutenir plusieurs scores, ou même un classeur de partitions d'orchestre. Il est donc idéal pour qui se déplace souvent pour jouer.
