Beautiful heavy duty mechanism. No way this bench will ever collapse, because it has nice thick pins and an inner track that the pins go into that locks. Fantastic quality and design!

I loved the fact that I opened the box and slid the bench out and discovered it was fully assembled. I moved the legs into position and started using it immediately. The padded seat is very firm, which I like because it feels like it’s sitting me right up to the piano. The height settings are easy to adjust.

After fighting with flimsy benches for many years, I decided to step up to this one, and it was well worth it. The cushion, while firm at first, becomes quite comfy after a couple of minutes, but most importantly the bench is easy to fold and/or set up. Many height adjustments, including a "fine tune" with the side knob. Good purchase.

This is my first ever piano bench since starting to teach myself piano as a senior citizen. After doing a bit of on-line searching and reading reviews, I settled on this one, despite it being a bit more expensive than similar types of portable benches.I like that it came fully assembled out of the box. I also like that along with incremental height adjustments it has a fine tuning height adjustment knob. This came in VERY handy for dialing in the perfect height. As others have said, the seat cushion is quite firm. However, I do find it surprisingly comfortable. It has just enough give. Also, one of the rubber feet has a variable thickness, which is used to correct any wobbling that may occur on an uneven floor. It's a nice feature but that one foot is orange, while the other three are black. I wish they would have used a more subtle way of marking that foot, as the one orange foot looks kind of silly. I guess that's my one rather minor complaint. Overall, I'm very happy with this bench. I think it was worth spending a little extra because I think it's good quality and will last a long time.

This keyboard/piano bench is exceptionally comfortable. The seat is made of very dense memory foam-like material. It is the inexpensive option that will actually be comfortable and wrk for almost anyone. It is adjustable in height. I am 6’1” and legs are at a right angle with my feet flat on the floor with room to elevate it more. Had it long enough to stay seated at it for 12 hr. Continuously with a few 3 minute breaks. Yes, it is still comfortable and puts the original “Pro Line” version to shame. They appears basically the same, and I can tell you that my toes are not numb after using this for an extended period of time. Had it about a month and if you need comfortable and don’t need a leather stylish very proper and pompous piano bench that opens up for storage, then choose this product. Your back and the nerves in your legs that innervate your toes will appreciate my advice, and I think you will as well. Clearly a top quality product beyond any close second in the price range from $40-$400. IF it ever breaks someday, I will buy another of this type, but it is sturdy and no squeals despite me not treating it Ike a proper performing concert musician. This would have stood to a tour with Motley Crue. Order it and take it “Home Sweet Home”. Ha ha ha🎶🎶👏🙈

I needed a bench that went high enough for my 8-year-old to properly reach the keyboard. All the others I looked at were a couple of inches shorter at the highest setting. My daughter’s piano teacher has this one, and I guess now I know why! It is very sturdy also. You can tell it’s made to last. And it doesn’t buckle when my 280 lb husband sits on it, which is a plus! It was pricier than others, but definitely worth it. It is also very easy to adjust the height between different people using it.

Although expensive, this bench is very good quality. The height adjusts from 18" to 24" (floor to top of seat) with two types of adjustments; four preset slots adjustable by pulling a spring loaded handle and also an auger style screw for very fine height adjustment. The frame is very solid metal and the auger mechanism looks like it will last forever. Inserting the leg into the preset slot was initially a tight fit but it slides back and forth with no binding.There is a safety latch that you have to pull to release the pins on the preset slot side (easy to do) - you do this to fold the seat flat for transport. I think this is a very safe design and it prevents the legs from falling out when adjusting.The chair is very stable both side to side and back and forth. The cushion is VERY firm. You slowly sink just a little but not much. Good for sliding back and forth across the bench but maybe too firm if you are going to play for extensive periods. The seat's vinyl cover is thick and has high quality stitching.If you are looking for a strudy long lasting bench, this one is worth the investment.

Looked at MANY piano benches and this has exceeded my expectations for quality, ease of use, wobble free seating and comfort. This bench uses a EZ height adjuster which is essentially a push lever that allows you to very easily move to one of four pre-set height adjustments. What really sets this bench apart from all others though is the ability to micro adjust the height for each individual person. Micro adjusting is done via an easy to use auger type mechanism and provides up to 3 1/4" in additional height adjustment - works great! We have several people who play piano in our family and each needs a different height setting. My 7 and 9 year old children have no problem setting the bench to the height that works for them all by themselves. In terms of comfort the bench has a wide and firm 3" thick cushion. Cushion stitching is done neatly too. Dimensions of the seat are 12.5" x 23.5" rectangular shape. This bench is 2 to 3 times the price of the other similar benches but I feel it is absolutely worth it. Don't second guess because of the price - you get what you pay for and this bench is high quality.
