We gave this to our son for his fourth birthday, and even though it's bigger than he is, he loves it. He runs around attacking Dad and his older brothers all the time, and also uses it to protect me and his baby sister from bad guys! It's good quality and soft enough it doesn't hurt your unarmed siblings too badly. 😄

I love these swords. I use them to battle with my nephew and they are great. They have the right amount of padding and durability. I've tried a few others but they are generally too stuff and dangerous. These swords are perfect for mock or play battles.

Handle easily and quickly broke, that is, snapped into two pieces with little effort. While it is not durable, it does look OK. I would not purchase another Hero's Edge until they fix the durability issues.

Great sword for LARP or swordplay in the backyard. Foam is soft yet durable. The tip has a tip smaller than an eyesocket with ample flex. The pummel is pretty hard so any pummel strikes will be illegal in most LARPs with this weapon.

Went looking for a last minute LARP sword and this served it's purpose. It passes safety inspection and holds up well. However, it's very cheap looking in terms of authenticity. The plastic around the hilt is hard, shiny, and has bubbles in the molding. The core also does not extend far enough towards the tip of the sword and is therefore very easily warped/bent.Like I said, it works but you get what you pay for.
