Love that these blocks are extremely precise and very heavy so they stay in place.

Generally the blocks are well machined and measure out to an accuracy that is sufficient for my purpose (precision woodworking) however many of the corners of both blocks suggest they were cut from larger bars with visible 1+mm deformations. Packaging in greased paper and cardboard box was adequate. The problems originated with machining, not in shipping.

These blocks might be fine for wood working and general block spacers, but they definitely are NOT ultra precision blocks. As shown in the photo almost every edge had a deformation from clamping or mis-handling which caused the surface to not meet the 0.0002 claim listed in the description.If it was only on one or 2 edges, I would have just stoned the parts and moved on. But not with all the sides having such an issue.If you need "close enough" these blocks are priced right. When looking for something close to "ultra precision" keep looking.
