I chopped two pieces of wood down before the ax head came off the handle. Terribly made products I think it's super glued. Never buy again

Awful axe, dull uneven edge, glued on head with no hole on top to allow replacement for a new handle just a solid head meaning when the glue goes the axe is bust, handle is cheap wood too easily splinters

Bought this hatchet before a weekend camping trip and the head came loose from the handle within a the first day of use. I reset the head in a new handle and it’s worked fine since then, holds an edge well.

Purchased this product along with other axes for holiday. Overall the product is sub standard. The sheath is nothing like what is shown. The handle is mis-shaped and I do believe i would have been better off to have purchased one locally. This item will be getting returned.

Ok you need to work on the Sharp of edge but i think IT s a good small axe

The hatchet I received had a head profile that was ground way thinner than the image in the ad. The one I received has more of a tomahawk type profile vs a typical hatchet. Additionally it came with a pretty bad tool-edge grind. I reprofiled the grind on my bench grinder but I have my doubts about it retaining the edge. I'd skip this one and pay a bit more.Update: I was correct regarding the hardening of the metal. I grind a nice edge on it and after a couple of whacks against side grain it starts to flatten out. I've ordered a different manufacturer and this will get relegated to some other purpose.Update 2: Only a bit of light use was enough to have the head fly off the handle. The handle doesn't snugly slot into the axe head, it's basically partly glued in and the impact from using the axe broke the glue bond.

This axe came so unsharpened that I wasn't even sure I could reprofile it without a metal file, I spent 60min on a 300 grit stone before it got anywhere near sharp. Im still not sure it can be rehandled. The grain orientation of the wood could not be worst lol. The head is glued on which is weird. Overall I made it work but I would not rebuy this axe or reccomand other then for decoration.
