Worn out after tapping 30 holes in 6061 1/8 aluminum. Until then it was strong and cut threads clean and easy.

The photo is misleading. It shows the shaft smaller than the cutting thread diameter. That would have enabled cutting deeper threads.I actuality the shaft is bigger and can't produce threads longer than 3/4 to 1 inch.
