The kit allowed me to fix a clock that had fallen off the wall and broken the movement. clock has been keeping time for a couple months now, all good.

I installed this clockworks in an existing clock whose works had died. The fit was perfect and everything seemed ok. Then I noticed that this clock was NOT keeping accurate time. Yes, I had installed a new battery and yes I checked that the hands were not catching on anything. I don't see an accuracy adjustment on the clock, so I guess I just got a bad one. I will not be order from this seller again.

This item came in the mail broken so I didn’t get the chance to see how it worked! It did seem like flimsy plastic made to look like metal!

Years ago, I purchased a large wooden clock from Pier One. It was my favorite clock, but eventually stopped keeping time. I was so upset, but still kept it on the wall because it was so beautiful. And the time was accurate twice a day (haha). I finally decided to look for replacement movement for my clock. I tried in the past, but I guess the movement was not for larger clocks. After some investigation, I realized I needed a high torque clock movement, so I gave this one a shot. I replaced the hands that came with this movement so that I could keep the original clock hands. Now my clock is working good as new again! I'm so happy to have it back. It is very quiet and keeps excellent time! Thank you! ps. The hands that come with this movement are black on one side and silver on the other. I am sure if you wanted silver instead of black, you can just flip the hands to the silver side.

I’ve ordered probably 10 of these.. some work and some don’t. Mostly the issue is the minute hand won’t fit on the movement. Some fit some don’t

Product is as expected. Looks nice but is a little flimsy for how big it is. Based on the instructions I think mine is also missing a nut or washer so that may be why the hands seem so flimsy.
