The screws are just what I expected. The plugs are not correlated, like the ones I bought originally from my local home center. Not a big deal and they weren’t advertised as being correlated, so it was just an oversight on my part. I’ll look for that next time as it is a time saver.

Easy to use, but expensive. Screw heads will strip if removed, so don't reuse them! Finished work looks good.

These are great for when you have to use a fastener in the face of your composite deck board. Holds strong, easy to use and plugs are genuine Trex material so they blend beautifully.

These screws are easy to drive. In one step, they drive the screw and bore out the hole for the plug. The plugs match the Trex Havana Gold exactly. I have to hunt to find where the plugs are located.

These are excellent screw fasteners. With the matching pegs the screws are almost invisible

I had a large deck project using trex decking and I ended up using a few different fastener types. I used the hidden fastener that fits between boards, and in certain spots those weren't enough to keep oddly cut pieces down or couldn't use a starter clip. That's where these particular ones come in. They came with the attachment needed for pre drilling the plug which sits on top of the screw which pulls the board down into the frame very nicely. One thing I noticed was I would recommend a small plug sized rod or something that can hit the plug a little more precisely into the hole as I noticed that some of them if you didn't hammer then in properly they'd start popping out after a few days so be mindful of that. They blend in perfectly well with the deck, you really need to look hard at the area to see them which a casual observer looking at the deck as a whole wouldn't notice. Definitely recommend, I can understand that paying this much for screws seems like a lot but the end result is excellent.
