This is the kind of tape you'll find holding bundles of wires in the car or in appliances, etc. It's felted on one side and only slightly sticky on the other. It's old very thin. I was expecting a thicker tape that is also much stickier. As it is right now, it holds OKish when applied to a smooth surface over a fairly long strip (glass, for example or a smooth side of appliance), but forget about it sticking to anything when if it's just wrapped around the wire harness.

This is good heat resistant tape. It's the kind you'll see all over the place inside TVs, kitchen appliances, portable gadgets, etc. As repairing stuff is a hobby of mine, this will come in very handy; when you remove this kind of tape from something it usually isn't too good at being re-stuck. Having a spool of new tape solves that.
