These do not work with most chips, not even the common 27C series chips and not even to read them. The seller puts their e-mail address on the bag it comes in for support but does not even reply with a software link which I could only find on rhydolabz's website.

I'm programming AT89C52-24s and this works well with the SP2000S using Willar Programmer software. I choose SP2000S(Enhanced).

Their own S/W D/L links are broken. Found WLPRO after MUCH digging (most links are spam or links to other links of links...), but no matter what I try (assigning other ports, etc.) WL Pro never could find this controller. Gave up. Ordered a $100+ writer/controller. This one's useless and for the time spent trying to initialize this, I could have bought half of Amazon. Waste of time (time=money).

Great product at a very good price.I do a lot of hobby work wit 8051 type micro controllers and my old programmer only runs with Windows XP or earlier.I have used this new one with windows 10 32-bit and 64-bit.It was the perfect solution for me.
