I got this for when I meditate, typically in the evenings as a screen-free wind-down before bed. I meditate in the basement, and as I'm getting situated the light in the room was too bright, but neither did I want to sit completely in the dark.Enter this salt lamp. It gives off a warm light that is very calming. I appreciate the dimmer switch that allows me to soften it just a bit. By the time I'm done I'm ready for a good night's sleep!I contacted customer service after purchase (it didn't come with the spare bulb), and they were very responsive and made things right. I couldn't be happier!One note - the size dimensions listed are 4.5x4.5x8", which was the size of the box the lamp came in. Mine basically filled up the box and weighs 6lbs. I find that to be a really nice size. It's also within the parameters of the title description, which states that the lamp sent will be between 7-10". However unless they ship lamps in different sized boxes, the maximum height would likely be around the 8" mark as listed in the product dimensions, if you're hoping for something taller.

❤️ You have to put a plate under the base because the salt makes a mess. And you arrange the pieces of salt in your own way. It gives very good light for the living room. In addition, as an ornament, the effect of light looks very romantic. gives a warm and peaceful atmosphere.❤️ Se tiene que poner un plato abajo de la base porque se hace un desatre de la sal. This is my second lamp. First one lasted 4 years!! Amazing value. Looks so high end yet is so affordable. Packaging on mine came destroyed and bulb was broken but Amazon replaced and I’ve had no issues!! Totally worth the money. I placed a glass tray underneath because I’ve noticed over time that the salt rocks condense and drip a salty residue on specially in the summer. But I absolutely LOVE IT!

I like the lamp, but it didn't come with 2 bulbs as stated and the bag of salt rocks was ripped, so many of the rocks were rolling around in the box and breaking up - considerable amount of "ground up" salt in the box. Otherwise, the lamp is great for the price.
