I hoped to use this product as an antacid, because the aluminum hydroxide gel I had previously used for that purpose had become unavailable. However, this product is intended enitirely for laboratory use. While it wasn't what I wanted, the seller was very straightforward in telling me that it was not what I was looking for, which I appreciated. I had to return it, but I appreciated the seller's honesty.

This can be used for some applications in technical ceramics. The material seems easy enough to work with and the price was good.

This "reagent" is contaminated with some type of ammonium salt...mix it with NaOH and ammonia gas isreleased. Very, very bad quality. I emailed himedia, and got no response. I learned my lesson.
