I purchased this shifter to replace my factory hurst shifter in my 2001 camaro ss. It is a night and day difference. With the factory hurst I really had to be careful when going into third at high rpm or I would miss the gear. With the Hinson shifter, I feel like you could try to miss third on purpose, and it would still go in. I've used a few different shifters in 4th gen fbodys over the years of owning them, and this is by far the best yet!
