The temp sensor was bad out of the box. Doesn't work as described at all. Have to manually turn fan on and off

When I bought the fireplace the blower worked for a couple of days , so ‘m really hoping this one will continue to work

Even though the ad identified the type of fireplace I have as an option, the installation instructions did NOT provide information on how to install it in my fireplace. Fortunately , I was able to adapt based upon my own knowledge and ingenuity. Also, the thermostat does not work. He very aware when purchasing this blower.
